It looks like Windows Vista has a two's complement error. I was tried to back up an excessive amount of data and this is what the file transfer window looked like:
Sufficed to say that the transfer never completed and I re-selected all the files to copy over and it came up with the right number (some 200 GB of data). Bizarre?
